PICC18, mplab6.00 and .coff
      #4843 - Tue May 28 2002 11:04 AM

I'am testing the latest version of MPLAB32 (V5.95.14) with hitech compiler. Hitech tools are not managed with this version but, it's possible to import .hex (with .cod)to debug a program. The problem is: Debug data is not possible (only .coff is used for that). So, How can I generate a .coff for use with this environment. Cromwell tool indicate it's not possible with PIC18F242 target to generate this format ? Any help on this would be greately appreciated.

At the moment the compiler is not able to generate coff files which are compatible with MPLAB. We are currently developing this and it will be available in a future release.
